Several years ago I began “meditating with coffee.” After years of trying to meditate and not really enjoying it I found that I really enjoyed sitting in the morning with my warm cup of coffee. I usually sit on our hearth, a firm surface where I can sit up tall. I sip my coffee. After 10-15 minutes I hum a while. Then I get up and most days I practice yoga. I look forward to meditating with coffee every morning, no matter where I am.
